“Broadway Barks” Award, Thank you Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore!

On July 10th, 2010, Pilots N Paws was extremely honored to be the recipient of one of two awards that Broadway Barks presents to organizations who have made a difference in rescue animal work.  This is their 12th year of this outstanding program started by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore.  Numerous broadway stars participated in this years event held at Shubert’s Alley and we are happy to report that many dogs and cats found loving new homes during the adoptathon.  Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore, along with others, are extremely dedicated to creating change for animals in need.  We thank them for acknowledging our contribution towards that same goal.  Here are just a few of the photos showcasing this incredible day. A special thank you to the Mayor’s Alliance of NYC for Animals for being our host and for all you do daily for animals in need.

    Pilots N Paws is such a wonderful thing. Without their unselfish kindnesses and dedication to the rescue world so many animals would not have “rides” to homes or rescues will to take them & love them. There are no words that can express my gratitude to Pilots N Paws for their help in our very frustrating world where so many animals are abused, mistreated, neglected, left behind, or just turned loose to fend for themselves. My heart is big enough to take them all but my home and yard are not. Thank you Pilots N Paws; thank you so much.
