Phoebe Celebrates July 4th with a Pilot N Paws Flight!

Little Phoebe was at the Glynn County Animal Control in GA until July 4th when she took her freedom flight north to Dalmatian Rescue of Southwest Virginia thanks to the awesome employees of the Glynn County Animal Control, Patty, Barbara and Karen and the wonderful Pilots N Paws volunteers, Pilot Wayne and Pilot Jon. Pilot Wayne took Phoebe to Wadesboro, NC where she made a connecting flight in the afternoon with Pilot Jon, his son and Pilot Andrew and they took her on to Roanoke VA.
It took a little coordination especially after the flight had to be cancelled on Friday due to weather and rescheduled. I was so excited when they all said they would be willing to make it happen on July 4th!!! Animal Control said Phoebe was such a sweetie they would do anything to make it happen!

Phoebe is now adopted with her forever family!!!!! One of the fastest adoptions they ever had!!!! So happy for this sweet girl!!!!
Thank you so much Pilots & Paws for getting Phoebe from Savannah to Roanoke for Dalmatian Rescue of SW Virginia. She is one of the sweetest little mixes we have ever taken. Our heartfelt thanks to Cathy for organizing the flight and to Pilots Wayne, Jon and Andrew. Phoebe has already found her new home, complete with her own little boy to love her. You guys rock!!
