Skyy is a twelve week old absolutely precious blue girl from NC. Part of the doggie napping caper we dealt with about a month ago. Well, not technically part of it, because you see, this little girl was the only pup left behind during the robbery. Why you ask yourself? We are assuming it is because she has a few warts on her face and the thieves might have a hard time selling her.

At the conclusion of the puppy napping capper, Doberman Assistance Network had told the owner if help was ever needed, to please give us a call. Well the owner did. They had not been able to place Skyy and felt that rescue could help find the perfect home for the puppy.

Skyy has a few canine viral papillomas… er warts. As in people, viral papillomas are caused by a papillomavirus though dogs and people have very different papillomaviruses and cannot transmit their viruses across species lines. The warts should go away on their own as Skyy’s immune system matures and generates a response against the papillomavirus.

Little miss Skyy found herself placed with crazy puppy loving Sue at Distinguished Doberman Rescue after a first class flight with Pilots N Paws. She rewarded the pilot Scott with tons of kisses as she rode behind him for the flight.
