14 Dogs Head Out of the Darlington (SC) Humane Society
Pilot Scott Messinger, at it again. Hey Mike, how many over 1000 pups hare you now flown for Pilots n Paws?
Today’s trip was scheduled to be another overnighter with stops in Knoxville, TN, Greenville, NC, Easton, MD, and back to Wilkes-Barre, PA. When my flying partner had to cancel, I was stuck with a “free” rescue day, but nobody to rescue! What a waste!
Hmmm…What do to? There must be some dogs SOMEWHERE in harms way….One call to Kathy at Darlington Humane Society in Darlington, SC and…problem solved. ”Could we find dogs needing transport and have them vetted and ready by morning?”, she asked. (It was already almost 5pm when I called.)
A deal was struck, some last minute trips to the vet by Kathy’s team, and we ended up with a lot of 14 of the most cuddly pups yet. Soo cute. Especially the two “brothers” who spent the whole trip home “tormenting” each other. ( As brothers do)
Thanks Kathy, Bob and Celia!
Scott

Merry Christmas Scott!! THank you for being you!!
OMG, thank you SO much for what you do! This is so amazing!
Now where would these pups be at this time?
Once again a small amount of faith in the human race! As always THANK YOU on behalf of all the 4 legged creatures!
Are these dogs that you rescued, in PA shelters or at rescue organizations?
You do such wonderful deeds. YOu will be blessed greatly in life. Thank you! Is there a way I can locate the black/tan dog in the top corner picture on this page? I must adopt that cute dog to join me and my other sweet dog. Thank you – mjdockman@hotmail.com
