Pilots N Paws Flies Lady To Houston

On a clear day in Texas, Pilots Stephen Wade Roberts and Cary Brooks flew from Pearland, Texas to Lampasas, Texas to bring Lady to Houston Collie Rescue. Lady was an unclaimed stray that was scheduled to be put down. The Lampasas Animal Shelter pulled her and saved her life the first time.
Lady is very sweet and loves other dogs. She will howl when she doesn’t get her way or she’s not getting the attention she wants.  Houston Collie Rescue (HCR) was contacted to see if we could help. Lady’s life was saved the second time through Pilots N Paws.
Pilot Stephen Wade Roberts responded right away to our post to fly Lady down to HCR.  She arrived at the Pearland airport and now Houston Collie Rescue will find her the forever home she deserves. This is the second time that a Pilots N Paws flight has helped Houston Collie Rescue.  Thank you Lampasas Animal Shelter, Pilots N Paws, and our angels with wings, Pilots Stephen Wade Roberts and Cary Brooks.

What a group of wonderful people to help this gal. She looks like my sheltie that passed away 14 months ago. If she were closer I think I would consider welcoming this gal into my home with my cocker rescue and two kitten rescues. She’s a beauty!

Thank you Pilots N Paws and HCR!!!!!!! I know Amanda and Kasey at the Lampasas Shelter and these two young women work so hard (and on their own time!) to get dogs safe and into rescue. They do amazing things on a shoestring.

@Karyn: I’d gladly fly Lady to a forever home when she’s ready. She’s a sweet girl.

@Angela: I totally agree. The rescuers are doing the truly important work.

I would love to make a place in my home for this beauty. Is she house trained? We just lost a beloved pet after 15 years! The 2nd one in 2 years. I love Collies/Shelties; my parents used to raise them. In fact my very first dog was a Sheltie. Please contact me if she’s still available.

I live in AZ; so I’d have to take you up on your offer to fly her out.
