Clyde Takes to the Couch
Clyde was found in North Carolina at a kill shelter. Thanks to Southeast GSP Rescue and their network of dedicated volunteers, a foster home was found. The Problem: his new foster home is in Chattanooga, TN.
Once again, the pilots with Pilots N Paws saved the day. Rescue had tried a number of times to put together a ground transport without much luck, but thanks to Pilot Tim willing to make a detour on his way home after dropping off a lucky Border Collie, they were finally able to connect.
Even so, getting Clyde to South Carolina to meet Pilot Tim was a testament to the dedicated volunteers in rescue. Clyde’s temporary foster mom Kathleen, woke up very early for a three hour drive south, to connect to Geri who then drove Clyde another two and a half hours further south in order to meet Pilot Tim. Many thanks to both Kathleen and Geri for making this work!
Pilot Tim, thank you for going out of your way to bring Clyde in to Chattanooga, when I’m sure after your long day of dodging thunderstorms, you wanted to go home to Georgia.
Thank you to Cat for taking Clyde into her home and giving him the second chance he do deserves. Clyde is a lucky boy indeed.
Thank you all so much for helping one more find a safe place in this world and thank you all for choosing rescue. Please be sure to support our sponsors, Petmate and Subaru.
