24 Dogs – Darlington, SC to Stewart, NY
Scott Messinger shares a flight for the following rescues: Darlington Humane Society, Almost Home Rescue in PA, Help Orphan Pups Rescue in NY State, and Good Shepherd Rescue….
Dogs included a very pregnant mom, and some tiny 10 day old pups. And the never ending assortment of lost souls….. of course.
Six hours in the air…but worth it, as always.
The Darlington, SC animal Shelter and Columbia County Shelter in NC (high kill) have now become personal projects. By alternating weeks between the two, as well as fostering a spirit of mutual cooperation between them, we hope to keep the plane full on every trip.
The goal is to maintain our recent average of 80-100 dogs per month.
If you are a Rescue and can accept some animals, please contact Kathy McGowan (Darlington, SC) at mcgowandennis@bellsouth or Julie Cameron (Whiteville, NC) at juliesdogs@gmail.com.
Lots of hounds, as always, but always lots of pups and little dogs as well.
