BIGGIN & MAUI — Bakersfield, CA to Mt. Shasta/Weed, CA

PNP Pilot Sue Clark with Biggin and Maui

Two Bakersfield Shelter dogs needed a ride to Northern California.  Maui is a senior Beagle and Beggin is a senior Bullmastif.  Betsy Legg and Sue Clark started  this 2 leg transport with a flight from O88  to Bakersfield, California and back.  After an overnight in Rio Vista, California, Biggin and Maui were handed off to pilots Marielle Moyer and Cecil Bush.  Accompanying them on this flight was Kristina Michelle, a local animal shelter volunteer/photographer.

Biggin was too big for a crate, so he had to sit in the cargo area, but he didn’t want to miss seeing the sights of Mt. Shasta from 8,500 feet!  Maui was in a crate, in the back seat next to Kristina, and not even one little howl was heard from this happy traveler.
