Noah’s Ark in the Air
Today was a “Noah’s Ark” transport that started with the “Hasenpfeffer Express” as I loaded 9 rabbits and one Guinea Pig from the Key West Shelter that were going to Rescue in Tampa. After delivering this furry load, I departed Tampa for Marianna, FL up in the Florida panhandle.
Once there I loaded up 4 kittens and 10 dogs/puppies. The next stop was a short hop over to Bainbridge, GA where I picked up 4 dogs/puppies from the Bainbridge shelter before starting the return trip back to Tampa and the two rescues that were taking this group.
Upon descent we encountered a little turbulence that caused a few of the puppies to engage in a losing battle with their breakfasts, but it seemed to only make them that much happier once they were on the ground.
It was a beautiful day to be flying (as long as you stayed above the clouds and the turbulence).
