100 Degrees Doesn’t Stop Mike and His Machine

Mike Young likes to fill his plane with dogs for his PnP transports, but he agreed to make a rare trip – one with only two dogs on board.

He and his dog-herding students loaded up a CBS employee along with the pups.  It was a 100 degree day, but the crew moved two dogs from Tifton, GA (TFD) to Wings Field near Philadelphia, PA (LOM).  They are getting their chances at new lives.

Required crew to make it all happen in Georgia.

  1. Great trip Mike. What a wonderful crew of rescuers!

  2. Well, the flight was really from Roxboro, NC (TDF) not GA (TFD).

But, yes, the temperature felt like about 104 deg! But no one seemed to mind. :)
