Jack and Cookie Fly Away to Start a New Life
Jim Carney shares a recent flight for Border Collie’s Jack and Cookie, who needed a ride from Hammond, LA to Olive Branch, MS.
This flight for the BC’s could not have been any better. Cookie rode in the back seat, and Jack rode in a real nice crate in the back compartment with plenty of cool fresh air. Since, Jack was in his crate, I could not take any in-flight photos of him, but he didn’t mind because he was going to rescue!
I extend very SPECIAL THANKS to the following,
Super Rescue Coordinator Terrie Varnado and her very able assistant Pattie Steib.
John and Edith Taylor of West TN Border Collie Rescue.
Kyle and Spence of Metro Aviation Servive, Olive Branch Airport, MS. Kyle helped walk the dogs and put them in Johns car. Spence who is a Private Pilot, signed up to help with Pilots N Paws. He did so while I was still there!!! Both, very fine Young Men!
