This was the 2nd trip for Darlington this week, and was really heartwarming to see how protective this Mom was to her newborn pups. One week old is REALLY young for a noisy, bumpy 3 1/2 hour plane ride, but the situation was simply that once the pups were adopted, the mom would quite possiblly be destroyed. So, when a rescue is generous enough to say, “Give us the pups, and we will take the Mom too,” you jump at the chance, and so that’s what we did. Deliveries were to Newburgh NY, Wings Field in Amber, PA, and back to Philadelphia.

We also learned that Pipi (tan pup) was an abuse victim and was being kept in a tied up BAG until authorities stepped in. That makes this trip even better. - Scott Messinger
