Pilots N Paws Pilots Give Hundreds Of Dogs Another Chance At Life
FAUQUIER COUNTY, Va. (WUSA) — More than three hundred homeless dogs scheduled to be put to sleep are now flying high and on their ways to their forever homes thanks to efforts by a group of volunteer aviators known as Pilots N’ Paws.
Nearly 80 pilots participated in the rescue of dogs from high kill shelters in North Carolina. More than one hundred dogs were brought to Northern Virginia where several organizations have agreed to place the dogs in foster homes and shelters with no-kill pledges until the animals are adopted.
