Shana was stuck in a shelter in Georgia almost ready to give birth to her pups. She gave us 7 beautiful little labs, and the family lived together with foster Megan until they were ready to head north.

A few sets of pilots helped out on this trip. Elliot and his wife Martha not only transported Shana and her puppies, they over-nighted them in their home on Friday night, until the travel could resume on Saturday morning.

There was a crowd waiting for the arrival of Shana and her puppies in Maine. Pilots and Paws Pilots Lee & Margery delivered the precious cargo.

Shana even had a furry welcoming committee of another NELR rescue, Mandy.

Pets are part of the family. In an effort to help find homes for animals in need, Subaru and Petmate are outstanding partners with Pilots and Paws.
