Kisses From Kisses

Scott Messinger takes to the skies to help another set of dogs…

This Pilots N Paws trip started out to be a quick run to Raleigh Durham but evolved into a marathon of takeoffs and landings as we hopscotched around the Carolina”s picking up and dropping off.  Word was out that we had extra space, so we were happy to keep adding stops.

Our route took us from Philadelphia to Winston Salem, NC, Lancaster, SC, Rocky Mount, NC, Atlantic City, Harrisburg, PA, Lancaster, PA , and finally Reading, PA. Yes, we stopped in all those places! Lots of landing and takeoff practice today for sure.

Rainy weather leaving Philadelphia, but soon we were above the clouds enjoying the sunshine as we headed south. Passengers were beagles, chow pups, a 3 leg bully, and a few other mixes. Kisses the beagle was today’s standout.

Rescues involved were Penny Angel Beagle Rescue, Beagles 911, Tri State Bassetts, Lancaster County, SC Humane, Save the Bully Breeds, and the Sebastian Foundation. Special thanks to everyone who drove long distances to meet us, and especially to all who opened their hearts and homes to pull and foster these cuties.
