Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Still Serving

Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Mark Reyner and his wife Daryl again stepped up to the plate and got the job done, getting Tiny to his furever home.

Early in the morning on the 16th of March, to the honking of multiple geese in the local fields, Mark and his wife with the help of my “exchange son” from Germany, Jurek Tiedemann, loaded Tiny, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, in foster care in Albuquerque, New Mexico, into their Turbo Arrow.  They headed west to Phoenix, AZ to meet with Samantha Shaw-Andrews and Barb Henderson, who had driven to the Phoenix area to meet the Reyners.

Tiny was an owner surrender and thru the efforts of a local Beagle rescue in Las Cruses was forwarded to a foster home for Chesapeake Bay Retriever Rescue and Relief, just outside of Tijeras, New Mexico.

PNP’s intervention saved the local rescue group at least 16 hours of ground transport time not to mention, food, fuel and an overnight stay in Phoenix.

Thanks, again, go out to all the great pilots and their families for the many hours donated to help us salvage these animals; which, would otherwise just end up in some land fill.

Rescue folk think you guyz at PNP, walk on water, cure the sick, raise the dead and haul the animals to fill in dead time!  Thank you ever so much.  It would be quite the chore without you. Your efforts are greatly appreciated by us all!
