BERKELEY HEIGHTS — Elroy is a 9-month-old German shepherd/retreiver mix in the care of Home for Good Dog Rescue. He came to New Jersey from South Carolina on a “Pilots N Paws” rescue flight along with nine other dogs saved from high-kill shelters. Elroy is described by volunteers as a sweet but shy dog. He would benefit from canine companionship, so his new owner would ideally have another dog. Elroy has been neutered and is up-to-date on shots.

For more information on Elroy, call (908) 598-8212, e-mail [email protected], or complete an online application at homeforgooddogs.org. Home for Good Dogs is a nonprofit rescue group serving Union County.

Shelters interested in placing a pet in the Paw Print adoption column or submitting news should call (973) 392-5950 or e-mail [email protected].
