Dog Flies To New Heights To Find New Home

By Krystle Henderson/KTVL.com

GRANTS PASS, Ore. – Pilots N Paws and the Rogue Valley Humane Society teamed up Sunday to help give a homeless puppy a second chance.

Koda is a three-month-old Australian Shepherd born deaf and blind.

RVHS volunteers sent Koda off at the Merlin Airport. The puppy flew first class to his new home, Double J Dog Ranch in Idaho.

At the pet sanctuary, Koda will receive the medical attention he needs.

PILOTS and PAWS are fantastic…Brian and his wife were part of a three plane mission to bring Koda to our Double J Dog Ranch in North Idaho….we call him Koda Bear….and you know what!!?? HE IS NOT BLIND!!! he is deaf-but he does have vision!! He is a wonderful addition to our Ranch family and we just love him to death!!!!

You team of volunteer pilots are great-we could not do what we do without YOU!!

Thank You!!! Duane Justus/Double J Dog Ranch

  2. Koda is here at the sanctuary and living life big! We are thrilled to have him with us. When he is fully vetted and trained, he will be looking for a sofa to call his own….. Thank you RVHS and PNP for making this possible for him.
