Reno Points the Way

Reno Points the Way

Reno, an English Pointer, was in need of transportation from Oklahoma City, OK to Denver, CO. The call went out for help, and the trip was accomplished with only two posts offering to fly Reno to his destination.

The team consisted of:

Coordinator – Caroline Marino of Pointer Rescue
Sending Party – Cindy Mooring of Pets and People, Yukon Oklahoma
Pilots – Jim Eastburn Edmond, Oklahoma, Billy O’Donnell of Boulder, Colorado.
Receiving Party – Laurie Filar

The transfer was so well planned that both planes arrived within 6 minutes of one another at the half way meeting point, Lamar Colorado.  Too bad not everyone experiences this sort of punctuality when flying commercial!

Jim said Reno was a joy to fly, quietest passenger he’s ever had, and he really enjoyed this trip. He’s worked with Angel Flight in the past and said this was just as rewarding.

Thank you so much for not only helping Reno, but all the other animals who are trying to get to their foster or forever homes!
