Banner Donated by Austin Sign Company

In an effort to introduce our organization to even more pilots, Tanya Card held a meeting at her plane during Airventure 2013 in Oshkosh, WI. We hope to have another meeting next year and make it an annual affair.

While Pilots N Paws has several banners for events, the ones on hand were too large to set up next to an airplane in the parking area. Austin Sign Company was kind enough to donate a banner to Pilots N Paws. Not only was that a generous offer, but they turned the banner around in just a couple days in order to make the necessary timing for Oshkosh.

The banner certainly drew a lot of eyes among the sea of airplanes and helped encourage new members to pick up the brochures next to it. Many thanks to Austin Sign Company for helping us out.

This is a great idea! I for one will be camping at the antique/classic area next year. Banners like this distibuted to a variety of pilots who are camping in different areas or have their airplanes on display would be very eye catching. It would be nice to see these banners wherever you go at Oshkosh. It would seem to be a pretty cost effective way to draw attention to our cause/passion.

Way to go, Tanya. She has made several PnP flights and can share with anyone the joy of helping a little furry friend find a new home. Hopefully, next year, there will be even more folks come by and talk with Tanya about PnP.

Great idea. I stopped and talked with her at Airventure last year!
