Chance Finds a New Start in Florida

Jim Carney was planning to fly Chance only as far as Cookeville, TN where he was going to be boarded for 3 weeks before going on to FL for Labrador Retriever Rescue of FL. Jim checked and the weather looked OK, so he flew Chance all the way to Lake City, FL.

Jim navigated around a few storms, but all in all the flight went well. Chance was then able to go right into the LRRodFL for adoption.

Chance wrote his own letter to his hopefully soon-to-be new adopters.

ChanceLetter

“Hi, My name is Chance. My mom could no longer take care of me because she lost her job. I am a purebred, 8-month old Lab. I know how to sit, lay down, shake, stay, and high-five. I am house broken and crate trained. I am a VERY hyper boy, and I love to run, play, and swim. I am super sweet and extremely smart. My mom left me my toys. The rope is my absolute FAVORITE. I will admit I like cats a little too much. I have never gotten to play with another dog. I’m really sad I have to leave my mommy because I love her so much, but she said it’s best for me.”

I’m the PNP Pilot who flew Chance from TN to FL for the Collierville, TN Shelter and the Lab Retriever Rescue of FL, Kelly Smith. I’m VERY HAPPY to report that Chance has been adopted and now lives in S Florida. He is now enjoying going to the beach and boating. His new Dad CJ loves Chance and Chance loves his new Dad. A great match!!
