PNP Pilot Dr. Clinkscales Flew A Dog Named Barron For His First PNP Mission!
We have officially completed our VERY FIRST rescue flight. It was such a success.
Here is the story about the little guy we gave a ride.
This is Barron. He is a 5 month old ball of love and here is his story. We were contacted by a friend in Mississippi about a dog that needed to be rescued due to a medical / orthopedic issue with his leg. His owners couldn’t afford to get his leg fixed so they called the breeder and told them about his condition and they were willing to take him back, but only to be euthanize.
We are bulldog owners ourselves so we felt the need to help him. The problem was, he was in North Carolina, we were in Florida and his forever dad lived in Mississippi and we had to get him from North Carolina to Mississippi. His original owners surrendered him to Carolina Pet Pantry and that is where we came in to help.
We have family in South Carolina so we decided while we were there visiting we would pick Barron up and let him stay the night with us and make the 2 hour plane ride to our house in Florida the following morning. We woke up and flew straight to Florida where we live to wait for his dad to pick him up. We only had the little guy for a few hours, but he made a big impact in our lives and broke a few hearts along the way.
