On a very cold and windy morning on Saturday, January 18th PNP veteran

PNP Pilot Steve Shoop

Pilot Steve Shoop arrived at the Leesburg Executive Airport in Leesburg, VA greeted by an ice covered runway resulting in a one hour delay.  When he finally received the go-ahead to take off the skies were clear and the trip to Blacksburg, VA was somewhat uneventful.  What awaited him was a group of five adorable Beagle puppies that had traveled by vehicle from Knoxville, TN.  From Blacksburg Steve would transport the “Fab 5” back to Leesburg where PNP Pilot Elliott DeGraf would take over.  Like clockwork, the handoff was smooth and within minutes Elliott was in the sky in route to New Jersey where these sweet little guys and gals would be greeted by their foster parent from SOS Beagle Rescue.
