PNP Pilots Shannon and Santina Fly A Dog Named Bones To His New Home

Bones 2 bones4Wanted to let you know about a flight we took on January 11, 2014. We provided a lift in a Grumman Cheetah for a German Shepard (“Bones”) from a volunteer in Odessa, TX to a rescue group in Addison, TX (“Good Shepard Rescue”)

Bones was found roaming the streets as a stray and would certainly have been euthanized if not for the work of animal lover Stacey Slade in Odessa.

The aircraft originated at KRBD (Dallas executive) flew to KODO (Odessa) for the pickup, and dropped Bones off at KADS (Addision, TX). Bones was delivered to “Good Shepard Rescue” in the afternoon. Fortunately Bones already had someone waiting to adopt him when he arrived in Addison. His new daddy was ecstatic to meet him as his previous German Shepard recently passed away.
The pilots were Shannon (me) and Santina (my wife) Forrest.
