A 2 Day PNP Journey Results In 4 Animals To New Homes!!
Four pilots embarked on a 2-day journey to get these four animals to their new homes. Pilot Matt Jessel met up with Kristin Brinson in Emporia, VA where she drove the animals ~1 hour to begin the flight portion of their journey.
Four dogs: Champ – 45lbs Boxer, Edie – 40lbs Collie; Chloe – 30lbs Hound and Gus – 29lbs Boxer Pup all embarked in a Cirrus SR20 up to Frederick, MD to meet Doug Weir/Rob Bondy. Despite ~30 knot winds on most of the hour long flight – all were well behaved. Doug and Rob flew a Grumman Tiger to Flying W (in Lumberton, NJ) to drop off Chloe (Burlington Co. Animal Alliance) and continued on to Caldwell, NJ to drop off Champ (Second Chance Rescue) and Edie (See Spot Rescued). Gus was graciously hosted overnight by a local shelter and picked up on Sunday 3/16 by Margery Gans for the final leg up to Manchester, NH where he was received by WOOFFUN.
