Ross came to Witham Field in Stuart on Saturday with his parents, Brian and Pia Ross, all of Stuart, to pickup the dog that they will foster, and if all goes well, adopt. “We have a cat at home so if they get along, I get to keep him,” Nicholas Ross said. Breezy is one of 7 dogs scheduled to be euthanized Friday, but were instead rescued by NALA’s New Life Rescue, of Palm City, and flown to foster families in Fort Myers and Stuart on Saturday from a high-kill shelter in Chipley, FL.
