No Longer Quite so Blue

Blue is only a couple years old, but he spent at least a year of that living on the streets of a small mountain town in Colorado. It was only after he was hit by a car that he was brought in by Animal Control. He was in that shelter in Colorado for months.

Megan Tomlinson found him a rehab rescue in Arizona, the only issue was how to get him there.

He is semi-feral and weary of all things unknown. That fear caused an additional challenge. He was very, very frightened of traveling. He couldn’t survive the 12 hour drive to Phoenix, so Megan posted to Pilots N Paws praying something would happen for Blue. And miraculously within 3 hours, she had it organized! And within 24 hours, Blue was in Phoenix resting in his foster home.

Megan said, “We could not have done this without PNP. The pilot was amazing. Very understanding, sympathetic and flexible. And it was such an easy experience, I will be recommending it to everyone! Thank you and all the pilots for what you do!”

Love to read your heart warming rescues. We are dog lovers who have 2 dogs. One of which is a 13 year old yellow lab who we are lovingly seeing him to heaven. Freedom for animals is very close to our heart. All of you do wonderful things to rescue these helpless animals. You are truely angels
