Air Cargo Company Donates Space for Rescue Dogs

Ameriflight, LLC is a leader in the air cargo industry and offered their services to move a badly beaten puppy and a paralyzed pug from For the Love of Dogs in Rocky Mount, NC to Fridays Rescue Foundation Groton, CT.

The little pup was beaten nearly to death by a drug addict. Pup’s lung was punctured, leg broken, another leg badly injured and several internal injuries. Pup knows he had a future in front of him as he made it thru the life threatening stage and is now in stable condition.

See – I’m looking good now!

While making arrangements for the two, they learned that Fridays Rescue could take eight other dogs if Ameriflight could get them moved. No problem. On Friday afternoon, they departed with ten dogs, and two hours later the dogs were on the ground at their new temporary home.

The dogs can’t pay their airfare, and Ameriflight is generous to add on cargo when they have the space and are covering the routes rescuers need. Thanks to the pilots and operations crew who also take on some extra work to get the dogs around safely.

This is the best and most compassionate thing I have read or heard all day. As I sit here with non-stop tears falling on the keyboard.
Thank you from the very depth of my soul for your generosity and compassion, I love your company and so do the dogs and the rescues and the new owners of these dogs. If more companies were this compassionate and giving a and not so greedy the world would be a better place! I think this should be a full page story on the New York Times, perhaps other companies would follow suit. Your company is a bright and shining example. I wish you nothing but success. Once again, thank you kind people:) Thanks for the tears and the smile on my face & making me feel like there are still kind and generous people in this F’d up world we live in. KUDOS . . .
