Pilot Rudy Holesek flew two Labrador retrievers – Mitch and Branson – from the Johnston Animal County Shelter to their new home.
“We couldn’t do this without these pilots. We can get more dogs adopted by them doing this,” Joy Frannicola said.
“There’s no other word for them: They are truly angels,” Carlson said.

Pilot Jim flew in and we loaded up 10 dogs from various rescue locations and we flew them to WV and met Pilot John Lee who finished the transport. We flew back to Huntsville where I got off the plane and Jim got 2 K9s to take to the rest of the way home.

Heidi, a beautiful GSD was in shelter with a fractured hip and no one to fix it. Thanks to caring rescue volunteers, a kind vet and Pilots N Paws pilot Mark Kozak Heidi will now have her surgery and is expected to walk again!

Sully was literally hours from death when boxer rescue discovered him and took him in. Pilots N Paws pilots Mike Gerdes and Peter Howell stepped up to be Sully’s wings……..
