Shimmer is out of a SHED (pound) and on to her new foster home in LA. After landing at VNY, ground control gave us directions and then told us to contact their unicom. Announcing we are a rescue flight, they parked us right next to their front door.....right up front next to a Challenger! Now that's service! We were able to walk our dog thru their facility, and they even gave her a doggie treat! The personnel are friendly and professional. The ramp fee was waived. I always purchase fuel.
