rescue questions

my name is donna wilson and i want to adopt a dog from canton ohio, and i need transport. the dog only has one day to live , i have been trying very hard to get someone to transport to me but havent found anyone, can i personally ask for transport, or does the pound where she is have to do that?

Donna,
Yes, you can post a request yourself. Go to the section "Ride Board- Animals Needing Transport" and once you're logged in click on the New Topic box in the upper left corner & fill in the info.
I hope you have been in contact with the shelter already--they have volunteers there that may assist you & get the dog held over for you.
