The following would work for me:

Pick up at Los Banos sometime Sunday afternoon
Foster overnight at my home base in Oakland
Hand off to N24342 somewhere in southern Oregon (perhaps Klamath Falls) Monday morning

If the previous trip doesn't work, I can do Los Banos-Redding...possibly Saturday or Sunday.

I can get the pups to Oakland on Friday, probably early afternoon if that works for you Henry. We have to get a couple of other dogs up to SF to go to rescue anyway. This would save you a trip. I don't have any volunteers on the weekend (tied up with adoption fairs, etc) that can do a run.
N24342 - can you meet in Klamath Falls Monday? If not, I will check with the rescue and see if they can do it.
Call my cell 209-617-2008 so we can work this out. I can't check this board until the evenings but I can answer my phone pretty much any time.

I live in Bend and can do a leg (Redding or K Falls back to Bend) - if the Independence pilot can get them the rest of the way. I'm off Friday through Monday this week. VFR only.

Pat, could you do Bend to Hillsboro if the Independence pilot (N24342) can't make it? I could probably get them all the way to Bend from Oakland, though that is a pretty long trip.

Laurel, I'm going to be out of town Friday through Sunday, but it's no problem for me to stop off in Los Banos to pick up the pups on my way home on Sunday afternoon, as long as the shelter is open then.

I can do a leg b/w Bend (or K Falls) and Hillsboro - weather permitting. I'm not IFR current, but might be able to grab a buddy that is if necessary. Monday's NOAA forecast for Oregon looks promising.
