Returning to rescue 4 easy legs 3JC~HAE~TYQ~TSO~CDW

Post by Liza007 » Tue Aug 20, 2013 5:55 pm

As I do not always receive notifications of postings here.. please email me at [email protected] and refer to CHRISTOPHER TRANSPORT in the subject line. **I have quite a few transports, so this is VERY helpful for my old gray matter!!

Imagine the surprise our rescue had last week when they received a call from a shelter in Kansas that one of their own had been abandoned there. It seems that their (screened) adopters in the military, were not allowed to have Christopher on the base! Rather than contact rescue, they dropped off this sweet boy and have since transferred, leaving him behind.

Needless to say, rescue is outraged and wants their boy home. The problem is.. 'home' is 1000miles away. (here's where we come in)

POTENTIAL ROUTE (flexible of course)
3JC~HAE (Junction City, KS~Hannibal, MO) <258NM>
HAE~TYQ (Hannibal, MO~Indianapolis, IN) <240NM>
TYQ~TSO (Indianapolis, IN~Carroll County) <240NM>
TSO~CDW (Carroll County~Caldwell, NJ) <310NM>
(I know, I know, but rescue is actually NYC)
As this is a collective effort of multiple pilots, even if a leg has been 'spoken' for I would still need to connect the dots as such;
If you can assist, can you please reply with:
The days you are available to fly
Your home airfield identifier
The leg you can help with or the alternative route that you can assist with?
And given the weather of late: WHAT YOUR REQUIRED MINIMUM IS

Passenger Information:
Christopher
Pit Bull X
8 years
Male
80#
Traveling with: Health Certificate and vet records, rabies tag, certificate, collar, food for contingency HARNESS AND LEASH
As Christopher is 'older' for a large dog, he will need assistance in and out of planes, he has been a family dog for quite some time and used to car rides, shouldn't need a crate.

Thank you all so very much for your consideration and thank you for choosing rescue
