Are you a 501c3: Not yet...we are working on it!
Additional Info/situation: The owner of these three Italian Greyhounds is re-locating and cannot bring her dogs with her. ROMP has agreed to receive them into its care. Italian Greyhounds are flight risks due to being sighthounds making ground transport with multiple transfers riskier than flying with limited transfers. Two of these dogs are siblings and we hope to find homes for them together. The other girl has been diagnosed with Cushing's which requires daily medication. A ground transport may take multiple days and it would be preferable for her to not inadvertently miss any doses. This breed has a very sweet temperament. They can be skittish in unfamiliar environments so they should remain crated the entire time until in receiving rescue's care. If anyone can help, it would be IMMENSELY appreciated.
