Rick/Sharon - The current forecast looks like we may have some fog and/or clouds (possible low ceiling) on Saturday morning, depending on how quickly or slowly the Friday rainstorm moves out. This could cause a delay until at least late Sat. morning or early afternoon. Since I'm VFR only, have to rely on decent ceiling/visibility to go anywhere.
So, for contingency purposes - Rick, are you available to fly on Sunday if the weather doesn't clear up soon enough on Saturday? Are you okay with slipping the schedule on Saturday if necessary? We can probably make the final call late Friday, once the TAFs are available for Saturday.

Absolutely Gary. I saw the same forecast. I suspect that the weather will be good VFR by the time you would be flying, but who knows? Let's touch base tomorrow night and adjust as needed. I can fly later Saturday or on Sunday if needed.

Hi Gary and Rick.

Okay. Keep me posted. As you know the decision is yours. Rick - I will assume you have been in contact with Edna who is meeting you at the airport. Is she okay with Sunday if the flight is moved? I am not sure who is fostering Boomer.

All is good. I talked to Edna. She is flexible on the pickup time. I suspect that Saturday will be good for flying. We may have to push things back an hour or so if fog is a problem up here. Will that be good for you Gary if we meet at 12 or 1 instead of 11? Should be all burned off by that time. We can talk either tomorrow night or Sat AM.

Good morning Gary and Rick,

I wanted to check with both of you first. We were contacted by the place Boomer is coming from asking us if we can take two 8-10 week old Shep mix pups. I believe they are approx 12 lbs each but I am waiting for confirmation on weight. Do you both have room on you plane for these 2 extras if we pull them?

I do in my plane. It's a Beech Bonanza. Check with Gary.If we do take them, please let us know so that I can bring an extra crate. By the way, the weather forecast has improved and is looking pretty good for the early morning flight and looking better still for Gary's flight to KMQS.
