VA to CT leg needed-Puppy badly beaten & needs ride to safe

I can still do a leg in Virginia, but there doesn't seem to be anyone else that this would benefit... I could possibly get the pup from Wilson, NC this weekend and get it to eastern central VA, a la W75, but I need to know someone can meet me there... Hopefully this can come together before too long with this one.

I think we may have the whole thing covered. I am going to try to pick it up in NC Sunday a.m. and meet the connection in Virginia, who has said he can fly the remainder of the trip. But that might not be accurate; I still need to talk with the other pilot, who was out today. Hang tight, as we may have legs to fill!

Thend015 - I'm not sure of this would be a deal breaker - but we just got a 10 year old paralyzed Pug come into our shelter. Fridays Rescue Foundtion - the same organization that's receiving the beaten pup - is willing to take this one too. Do you feel like this poor boy could fit in on this flight if it works out. If not- no worries - we will be so thankful to get the pup up that was beaten - but it never hurts to ask. Please let me know:-) Thanks!!!

That shouldn't be a problem. I'm still waiting to hear back from the other pilot and will run this by him once we are in touch with one another! I'll be in touch.

We could fly the pup from Rocky Mount-Wilson Regional Airport to Groton-New London Airport tomorrow afternoon around 4:30 PM. I'm not sure how mobile the pup is, but we don't have a crate. Hope that's not an issue.

If time is a factor, then you may want to take up the previous poster who can fly the whole leg tomorrow.
