Additional info/situation: Sweet little Tess found herself at the shelter needing special help. She is missing one rear foot and several toes on the other. To minimize her discomfort, we are trying to get her flown from KY to CO. We have a pilot available out of Denver that can go to KS. Please consider helping us, help this sweet girl get the help she needs to live a life free of pain and full of joy. KY shelter volunteers are willing to drive to the larger airport in Paducah if that helps. Thanks in advance for your consideration.
PLEASE NOTE: Tess was tested positive for parvo, but rallied quickly and has been cleared to travel after April 20th. She is back to 110% rottenly wonderful puppy. To be conservative and safe, we are asking for her to be the only dog on the transport and if possible, that her originating crate be transferred to each new plane.

Subject to weather and travel day (I work and have limited availability on weekends) I could fly a St. Louis or Springfield MO leg to Kansas City. Please email me direct for updates.

Thanks everyone. We just need a St. Louis to Paducah, KY pilot now (and the weather to cooperate) and we are a go. Please cross post to anyone you know in the STL area. I will update everyone once I compare available dates. Thanks, again!!
Re: Special Needs GSD Puppy Needs Ride: KY to CO
There is a possibility I could do the initial leg from Marion, KY (5M9) (I assume that's the most convenient) to the St. Louis area sometime this week. Maybe Sullivan, MO (KUUV) would be easiest to keep it the most direct routing, and have 'PA28-140' pick up from there.
What days/early evenings work for the rest of you guys? Tue afternoon/evening is out for me- and as far as the WX goes around here, Monday and Thur look to be poor as well. -- I guess that leaves Wed or Fri-
A few questions- how big is the crate? Does the pup need to travel in it, or could she be held? I would be flying a Piper Cherokee or possibly a Cessna 172.

We are set with all legs filled! Tess will make her way to the Rocky Mountain High Life on Friday. Thanks, everyone for your caring and concern.

Just checking to see if you got this done? I will be flying back from Georgia to Colorado on Tuesday the 29th and can pick her up and fly her non-stop to Centennial. Let me know ASAP. 303-519-9807
