DONE - Transport arrangements completed

Post by breka » Wed Apr 15, 2009 5:31 am

Sunset Animal Rescue has an Austrailian Shep rescued from the Fairfield County Shelter, who has been adopted by a family in Fort Lauderdale Florida. We are looking for transport pick up from Winnsboro South Carolina, or anywhere nearby such as Columbia South Carolina or Charlotte North Carolina, and delivery to Fort Lauderdale Florida, or anywhere close to that city. The dog has no special needs and is very friendly. The day of week and time of day are of course open to any pilots convenience. We hope to have completion by Friday April 24th.

With Sun N Fun taking place in Tampa next week, you might want to contact all pilots from the Pilots N Paws Home page that are in your area to find out if they are going to the air show and can take the pup. If they can, I could drive the pup to Ft. Lauderdale on my way back to the Florida Keys. You would have to contact a local rescue group to foster for a couple of days until the show is over. I have a few rescue contacts in the Tampa area that might be able to help as I have transported for them in the past. It's a little round-a-bout but it might work out.

I spoke with Breka last eve. I will P/U the Pooch in Winnsboro on Tue the 21st, and bring her to West Palm Beach. The family can meet us there around three or so.
