We have a sweet 1 ½ year old female Doberman named Gracie who is looking to hitch a ride from Denver to Salt Lake City. Poor girl has been waiting for a flight for nearly a month. Cancellations due to weather , medical and mechanical . Lost her foster home a few weeks back to fire and had been boarding at a vets office since. She will be moving via ground transport from Tulsa OK to Denver CO on Saturday April 25th. Her forever home is in Salt Lake city and we would like to move her Sunday april 26th from Denver to Salt Lake or a soon as possible after that date ..

Gracie is approximately 53 pounds, up to date on all shots and spayed. She will have a health certificate. We will provide Gracie with a travel harness, which will allow you to strap her into the existing seat belts

Rich Clover out of Evanston, WY has offered to pick up Gracie in Rock Springs or Rawlins, WY, for transport to Evanston or Salt Lake. If a Denver - based pilot could bring her that far – Gracie would be set . Rawlins is about 165 nm and Rock Springs is about 225 nm

Please let me know as soon as you get the chance if you think you may be able to help Gracie from Denver to Salt Lake city. We are a 501 C3 and will provide charitable donation paperwork .....

Hey Rick - thanks you so much for the offer. Kevin C and Rick C have been working on this yesterday and we have the legs covered now. Just hope the weather will be in our favour.

We are looking for someone who can overnight Gracie when she comes into Denver on Saturday 25th and take her to the airport on Sunday 26th. If weather does not cooperate - we also need someone who can temp hold the girl until rescheduling can be arranged. so if anyone can be of help in this way - please let me know!! Gracie is a doll - a clown who loves all except those of the feline variety :)

Thank you all

Sorry, Cathy, the weather didn't co-operate today. I know you're working on getting Gracie from Denver to Rawlins, WY, on Tuesday, 28th, so we'll bet on improving weather and keep that day open.

Transport was filled by ground as the weather just would not cooperate. Many thanks Rich and Kevin for hanging in there and trying as hard as you did.
