This girl is heartworm positive, and a rescue has spoken up for her, and said they'd take her in, get her the treatments that she needs, and then find her a forever home. I know there's no one close to Valdosta, but if someone could help, if I can find land transport to get her to you, please let me know.

How big is she? If the rescue in Tampa could provide a crate, I might be able to do it. I couldn't get there until Sunday evening at the earliest. I'm based in St. Petersburg.

Sunday would be great, whatever works best for you. I'm guessing between 30-35 pounds based on his picture and the average weight of a BC. I'll check with the receiving rescue, but I'm sure they will have a crate for you. Thanks SO much. I'll get back with you ASAP.

Thanks to Kenneth, a pilot out of St. Pete, this lucky pooch is now at her rescue, where she'll be treated for heartworms, and on her way to looking for that special, forever home.
