Brian, he will be shipped in a large crate. He is about 70 to 80 lbs with the crate weight. I will be supplying the crate for the trip. If you would like a picture of Chewy, I can only text you a picture because I am currently out of town for training. If you text me at (619)991-8769 I can send it over to you. Thanks, Troy

Ok everyone, I think we have our Pilots. We need to work on the schedule know. The 31st does not work for everyone so How about April 7th ? Can each pilot please send me your estimated flight times for your leg of the flight. Please let me know if I have you assigned correctly.
The following is what I have for each leg of the flight:

bcbound- San Diego to Phoenix
HAR- Phoenix to El Paso
George B- El Paso to Odessa
ShaneT- Odessa to Georgetown

Thanks for your help , Troy

April 7th is good for me. I'm clear for a couple of days before and a couple of days after. We are going to have to overnight the pup at least once and maybe twice.

Unfortunately after April 1, I am not going to be available as the aircraft I use is tied up most weekends. When this request initially came up I thought it would be completed prior to the end of March.

If the trip doesn't start by March 31, I am going to have to withdrawal from availability.

7th is VERY questionable for me as well unless I can pick up the dog in Odessa before 1pm. The 31st would be best if we can make it work somehow. I might be able to do the 6th as well (anytime) if we can figure something out soon.

Ok, it sounds like we should try to stick with the 30/31st. I have sent flyers to the El Paso and Midland area, maybe there is a pilot that will be available for that time frame. I will keep you all posted. Troy

Do you have the exact dimensions of the crate that will be used?

HAR,

I am assuming that we are going forward with the transport for next week. If you'd like to call me, we can discuss the best arrangements for transferring the dog to you. Looking to coordinate times, places, etc.
Weather looks like it would be best on Friday the 30th for the San Diego-Phoenix leg.
