Are you a 501c3:
Additional Info/situation: The retriever mix puppies were found inside of a trash can dumped in a ditch on a dirt road scared, starving and full of ticks. The yellow lab mix puppy was an owner surrender after the kids lost interest after 3wks. The yorkshire terrier was picked up as a stray and never claimed by her owners. The heeler mix puppy was dumped during the night here at the clinic with no info. Carlos the Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Mix was rescued from an abuse situation. Carlos was suffering from an horribly imbedded collar. He was just shy of turning 1yr old when he was rescued and the collar growing into his neck had not been changed or adjusted since he was about 4mths old. When the collar was surgicaly removed form his neck it was found to be the size that would fit a 20lbs dog. Despite all of the horrific pain that Carlos was put thru he is still as sweet and loving as ever. His neck has healed wonderfuly and the hair is growing back. He will always bare the scare of what happened to him but he has not let it scare his wonderful personality.

The weather is looking pretty much the same up here. I'll probably take the Pittsburg leg if that's alright

Hi, I also fly out of Kansas City and could help with a leg. I'd also be combing this with another dog rescue and flying up some dog supplies to another rescue in Omaha. I'm worried that I can fit all the dogs except the 75 pound dog. I'd have to do some planning on how to get everyone in the plane. I only can fly on weekdays. Email me directly if you are interested. Thanks.

Jerry in Omaha here. Not to confuse things, but I will be coming from Omaha to KOJC and returning to KMLE over the weekend. If it helps, I can bring some of the dogs or supplies or a combination of both back to Omaha.
