Re: Update- Still Need Danville, KY to Frederick, MD for one

Matt - I still have not found a pilot for Sunday, 4/15, to fly from Kentucky to Frederick, MD. I am going to try to send messages to pilots along the route.

This is a little confusing with several transports getting mixed up - Paul Bale on another flight referenced a Terrier going to Leesburg -- is this that flight?

If so, we're trying to push this flight up so that Paul can get to Blacksburg by 9am to meet up with Ed Abrams to bring him to Frederick .. or is this a different Terrier?

Matt - Andy is the name of the Boston Terrier/Beagle mix who is in Danville, KY that is coming to our Rescue in PA. Andy is only 13.5 pounds and 12 months old. You are the only pilot I have been communicating with on this flight and I do not know anything about the other Terrier. I am still hoping to find more pilots to fly Andy from Danville, KY to PA and to meet you in Frederick, MD if you are still able to help us on Sunday, 4/15

Thank you Sharon. If you check the board, there are a couple of flights coming from Knoxville / Chattanooga and I don't know where Danville is relative to that but you might be able to piggy back?

The issue is that I need to be wheels up from Frederick, MD (Airport: KFDK) by 11am to meet some prior commitments and the problem we've been having is getting the first 2 flights up early enough.

Danville is in Kentucky not Tennessee so I would have to check to see how far that is if someone would have to drive to TN. I do not know many pilots to contact but will try. I will assume for you to leave at 11am from Frederick, the pilot would need to leave from Danville, KY very early like 6am????

Sorry - as I said, not that familiar with the region. Wouldn't be that early - maybe 7-730; all depends on the plane.

Matt - okay. I just went through all of the posting for Andy. Ed Abrams did reply to this post earlier stating he could help fly from Frederick to PA. Maybe it is the same dog. I have to leave for work (parttime job) so if you need to speak with me my cell is 610-761-9412.

Re: Lexington, KY to Coatesville, PA for one pup - 13lbs

Postby aplaceforall on Mon Apr 16, 2012 10:47 am

Since I was unsuccessful at finding pilots to fly from Danville, KY this past weekend, I have changed my post to depart from Lexington, KY. If anyone can help fly Andy (13lb boston terrier/beagle mix- 12 months old), please let us know.

Thanks
Sharon

Sharon - Per my email response, am available this weekend, weather permitting, for a leg from Morgantown, WV to Coatesville. Weatherwise - Friday would be best day, with Saturday a tenuous
possibility.

Hi Gary,

Okay. Hopefully we can get a pilot from Lexington, KY to meet you on Friday then if the weather will be bad over the weekend. I have been trying for a few weeks to get Andy from KY to PA so I hope we can get him on a flight this time. He is taking up space in a foster's home who saves dogs from the shelter until they can get them to the rescue that pull them. So while he is there she can not save another one.
