Emily,

I would be willing to transport this puppy, I would hope from West Memphis airport to KCOU. I could do this next week after 4/11 pretty much any day,
weather permitting. I am based in St. Louis at KSUS and am IFR capable.

That would be fantastic! I will send out a couple of inquiries to see when we could get the pup to West Memphis and pick up in Columbia. Thanks so much!

Emily,

I may be coordinating with another posting; http://pilotsnpaws.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=16617 to pickup another
puppy for a trip from Memphis to St. Louis, where another pilot will continue up to Madison, WI.

If you know the organizer of the other one maybe you guys can coordinate?

My schedule is flexible for next week, I think the other pilot's is also, depending on weather (as always).

I do not know the other transporter, but we can try to coordinate as much as possible. Do you know about what time you were thinking you would be down in West Memphis? I think we can get to the airport by 10am on the 12th, otherwise any time will likely work. Her new family works from home, so she can be picked up anytime in Columbia. So, the first good weather day you can do it I think we are all set! I see you are waiting to hear back from the other coordinator on the other post - I can keep my eye on that as well and hopefully we can get it to work.

Thanks!

Emily,

I could probably fly to your area by 10 am without a problem, it's just a little over 1.5 hrs from my base at KSUS in St. Louis.

I really don't want to nail down a day yet, because we have absolutely no idea what weather will be next week. For planning
purposes Thu 4/12 or Fri 4/13 work for me, but I really can't commit to a date until maybe Tue next week, do you understand ?
Also, I am trying to coordinate another flight and need to make sure he has good weather from St. Louis up to Madison, WI.
If you guys can be flexible I really appreciate it at this point.

Speaking of flexible, I originally was thinking of flying out of West Memphis but the other puppy would be more convenient from
Olive Branch airport KOLV. How does that work for you guys, better / worse / no difference ?

Can we hold off on details until maybe Monday 4/9 of next week, when we have a better look at weather? I can fly IFR thru
moderate rain but the pilot on the other leg can only fly VFR.

Thanks,

Todd

Olive Branch should work ok, just keeping in mind that if we do the transport on the 12th the pup will not be able to be at the airport until 10am. I completely understand about the weather, please keep us posted. The temp foster for the puppy is leaving for a business trip on the 14th, so if it is possible to get her moved before than that would be ideal, otherwise we will figure something else out. Thanks!

I could help with this rescue by flying the pup from the Memphis area all the way to Columbia, MO. Also, could help Todd by flying the pup needing a ride to Madison, WI to Columbia, MO where Todd could take over. I live in Germantown, TN but keep my planes at the Covington, TN Airport, M04. Someone could drive the pups to the airport at Covington or meet me in Germantown and I will take them with me to the airport.
I can do this Friday 6th or Saturday 7th but not on Sunday. Early next week would also work.
Let me know if this helps.

I don't know about the other transport that Todd is coordinating with, but from our perspective a move as early as the 9th would be ideal. It will also give us that many more days to have a chance of good weather! We should definitely be able to meet you in Germantown, and likely Covington as well if you would prefer that. Also, our puppy is the only one that needs to go to Columbia, and Todd is actually based in St Louis, so if you were to take our puppy to Columbia earlier in the week then Todd wouldn't have to make the extra stop and could coordinate only with the other pilot to get the other puppy he is working on up to Wisconsin.

If Monday, 4/9 works for you it works perfect for us! Just let me know timing and I will work on getting the puppy to you. The weather for Monday looks good so far, but of course we'll all be keeping our eye on it.

Thanks!

I'm working on transports for setters FROM COU to St. Louis and also a German Shorthair FROM Kennett. If Todd (or someone) goes to COU, maybe you could bring these dogs back to St. Louis and I could continue driving them?
