Let me do some figuring, I'm based out of Oakland Pontiac which is very close to West Bloomfield. I might be able to take the whole leg. 13 April shouldn't be an issue if the weather is good!

Would Kankakee work for the receiving airport? Will the dogs be traveling in a crate(s)? Will someone be available to help load them into the plane at the departure end?

We can get a volunteer to Kanakee and finish the rest of the transport via ground (no problem), and we will definitely have someone dropping off and picking up (we are always willing to help with the loading and unloading, we just need to know where to find the plane once it has landed). They will not be coming with a crate, but with you being so close to West Bloomfield, I think we could arrange to provide you with a lender crate if that works.

Bult Field in Monee is another option (it looks like it may be a little closer for you).

Hey folks,

I can run the finish leg to Poplar Grove. I would suggest Lansing, (KIGQ) to shorten the leg and it's a nice airport.
Pups would have to be in a crate for me. Think I'm going to buy a soft-sided kennel that fits my plane for future use.
Otherwise, crate max size for me is 38"x21"

Thanks John! It sounds like we have two options:

Pontiac to Kankakee - Darin or
Lansing to Poplar Grove - John

Do either of you have a preference on who takes this?

Just let me know and thanks so much!

A little confusion.
My suggestion is Darin from Lansing, MI area pickup, to KIGQ Lansing, IL. (what a coincidence!)
Then I finish from Lansing, IL up to Poplar Grove.

Ah, now it makes sense! Darin, please let us know if this works for you, we should be able to provide a lender crate. It can be returned to the family in May when we have Beaglefest (our annual fundraiser in the Chicago area) since the family fostering the puppies and the MI family will be attending the event. This program is AMAZING!!
