Anywhere in the vicinity of Torrence, Santa Monica etc. is good. There might be another border collie as well but we're waiting to hear.
Picture to come. Thank you!
Update: There is someone who can meet in Castiac too, if they can be flown there. Thank you.
UPDATE: I just got off the phone with Fresno and he needs to move ASAP or will be pts. They can give to Wednesday or maybe Thursday if there's a transport plan. The dog is so terrified in the shelter environment that he is not eating. He is healthy; there's no medical reason except he is very scared. This is a common thing with herd breed dogs, especially border collies, cattledogs and Australian shepherds. They just freeze up. I am trying local vets again to see if they have room to board but last check they were full with reservations thru Mid August. Also trying some of the local rescues if they can spare a foster for him. If I find another ride I will update this immediately. Thank you!
Thank you Pilot Jeff for saving this dog's life in more ways than we realized. We were told he was "ok" medically but turns out he is extremely thin, sick and very weak. Suzanne rushed him off to the vet for 24 hr care and we hope he will be ok. Thank you so very much Jeff for helping this beautiful dog make it out alive. Suzanne said he will be ok, he just needs 24 hour care and find out what's going on. - Dorothy
