Howdy,

I'm going to be in South Beloit, IL (possibly flying out of Janesville (KJVL), or driving.. unsure on wx so far) on Sunday, heading back to Dayton.
Then on Monday I'm heading to Parkersburg, WV (KPKB)... its only a short flight from someone in the DC/MD area to come meet.

If we can coordinate Parkersburg further East, could you get the birdy down to the WI/IL line on Sunday around 5pm?

A few logistical questions about a bird:
Caged, right? :-)
He'd be living in my garage overnight Sunday, as my dogs would not appreciate a house guest...probably 50-60f in there.. that ok (or a small heater)?
Any special treatment? flying can be bouncy at times... any wounds or special care?

regards,
Mike

I could run him from Dayton eastwards on Sunday. I echo the cage question; how big is it, will it go into a Cessna 172?

Hi Mike,

We are waiting for confirmation that the eagle is going to be transferred to our permit and both ends are not ready to complete the transfer yet. Thank you so much for the offer! It ceatainly would have been easier to find another pilot to complete the transport to Southern Maryland. This is the first time I have posted to the list and didn't expect a reply so soon. Not sure how soon it will be before the transport can happen, but I suspect the soonest would be next week. Thanks again for your willingness to help us brign the eagle tto MD!

Naturally,
RaptorsRule aka Mike Callahan

I'm based in Maryland and would be able to head west to Pittsburg area Sunday and bring back to any airport in Maryland, including SFRA and FRZ airports.

Sounds like we have a transport chain ready to go; now all we need is an eagle

Hello,

There have already been a fair few replies, but I would also be able to provide transport from WI to somewhere in mid Ohio. However I am only available next weekend.

I could do a "mid-Ohio" pickup next weekend and we could complete this in two legs.
