Kevin, are you coming from Michigan area or Illinois? I am based near Bolingbrook, and would be happy to split the trip in half with you. How does that sound?

Michigan....just west of Grand Rapids. Dowagiac (C91) would be about half way. How about meeting there. It's a nice FBO, unattended most of the time and it's hassle free getting in and out.

Or somewhere else...South Bend would be fine too. I'm not really too picky.

That would be terrific!!!! I will let the two of you square away a meeting location in the middle. If one of you can just let us know the pickup time in Bolingbrook and drop off time in Ann Arbor we will have things in place on both ends ends. I was thinking of Clow International (130 Clow International Parkway) and Ann Arbor Municipal Airport (801 Airport Drive), but will happily defer to any location you would prefer, so just let me know. I will put a run sheet together that gives lists locations, times, names and cell numbers for everyone involved. Thanks so much!!

Either Dowagiac or South Bend work just fine for me. I can do the trip Saturday morning or Sunday late afternoon/evening. Preference between those two?

HI Graham,

Let's meet in Niles at 3TR. SBN seems to charge a ramp fee and I can't seem to get a line on when it is waived. Looks like some guy driving a 172 got charged $40.00. It's a nice place though. Looks like the FBO is Astro Star and that's where we would meet.

I've got a medium sized crate that will fit nicely in the baggage area of my PA28-161. Plenty big enough for a 30 pound beagle.

Sunday afternoon is best for me. Say around 2pm. I'm VFR so we are weather dependent on this flight.

If you can get with Cathy to get things going, that would be great.

Kevin,
All sounds great except the time. I can't leave Chicago until about 3:30 central on Sunday. Will a night flight work? Or I am open Saturday morning and would prefer that time. Can either of those options work? Please let me know and I will coordinate with Cathy.

Thanks,
Graham

I don't mind a night flight. But it'll be weird that flying at night means flying a 1830 EST. So, that will be ok.

I have to check to see about a Saturday flight, I may be able to pull that off. But I would need to meet you at 3TR at 1000 EST. I might be able to make it happen earlier, but I have to juggle something. Let me know if that would work for you.
