I could do a portion of this...say from Flint or Grand Rapids to Chicago, if the plan is to go south around the lake. I could pick up in Flint and deliver to Muskegon, Holland or somewhere else if the pup is going over the lake. Or Flint to Ludington/Harbor Springs/Beaver Island if the pup is going that way.

I might be able to do the whole thing too...but it just depends on the day and some other factors.

I'm flying a Paws mission into Aurora on Nov 17. Kevin, if you could get him to ARR or one of the Chicago airports like PWK or DPA I can get him to the Madison area, C29 or MSN, or as far north as OSH.

I could do that, but if someone can get the pup from Flint to GRR, that would be wonderful.

Thank you all for your interest. Is it difficult to fly across the Lake and not go south. I live toward the north of the lake... Marinette, WI and driving south is more difficult because of the huge construction south of Green Bay ...

Sister Pauline,

It is probably not advisable to fly across the lake in a single engined airplane like Kevin and I fly because any engine failure would mean ditching in very cold water making survival very difficult unless one is rescued immediately. How far south are you able to drive from Menominee?

Hopefully we could have a Madison area pilot step up and do the final leg to Menominee.

Sister Pauline,

Oshkosh would work for me this Saturday, Nov 17.

I have put out a request on another thread to see if some Madison area pilots might be interested to do the final Madison - Menominee leg. (Menominee, MI KMNM appears to be the closest airport to Marinette, WI.)

I see you sent me a message. This won't get to me for a while. My messaging on this site doesn't work. You can email me direct [email protected].

It looks like you have this guy covered through three flights or so. If it falls through I could make the whole flight next week Tuesday or Wednesday (20th, 21st). I know that is Turkey week, but is really the first I will be open.
