When do you want to move this pup? I am available tomorrow, Saturday the 17th.

Is there someone on the San Angelo side who would be willing to split the trip into two legs?

Finally, I'm based at Pearland (KLVJ) Airport - can the Houston connection bring the pup there for transport?

Hey,

It's Wade, the second-leg pilot on this mission (based at Pearland, too). Because of some annual-related issues with my plane this week, I'm combining a couple of missions.

I'm looking at taking off around 8 a.m. for Vicksburg MS, and I'll pick the beagle up from the first pilot. But I then need to fly to Thibodaux LA and New Iberia LA before returning to LVJ. I'm thinking that I should get back to Pearland around 4:30 p.m. I recognize that that's a little late to set off for San Angelo.

If you possibly fly Sunday, I could board the guy overnight and bring him by LVJ in the morning.

BTW: my cell is 312-806-8928.

I hope this doesn't just confuse things, but we have two Bassets in San Angelo that need to come to San Antonio (Boerne). Is there any chance that they can come back with CleoBen? We can work with late Saturday or anytime Sunday. I haven't looked at the weather forecast, so don't know what we're dealing with.

Thanks!

Jerry,

Text me on my cell at 312-806-8928. I'm departing at 8 a.m. tomorrow to pick up the beagle in Vicksburg MS, then to Thibodaux LA to pick up two small dogs and eight kittens, then to New Iberia to pick up another small dog and two more kittens, then back to Pearland. I'm going to board the beagle overnight. If no one steps up for the Houston-San Angelo leg, a pilot friend volunteered to fly with me to San Angelo on Sunday, departing LVJ at 9 a.m. and getting in before noon. We pass over Boerne on the return, and could drop off the basset hounds. I have a full day of flying on Saturday, but I can call you when I get home.

Best,
Wade

I am new at the Pilots N Paws rescue site but it just amazes me to see how great everyone works together and how many animals get forever homes cause of such caring people willing to give up their time and endure the expense of making sure these babies get to their new lives. Ya'll are the best. Thank you

Sorry for my late response - We have plans for the rest of the weekend, so I am not available to help with this trip.

No problem. My pilot friend, Cary Brooks (also based at KLVJ) and I are flying Jake, the beagle, to San Angelo on Sunday and picking up the hounds for a drop off in Boerne on the return.
